Installation
The Africkiko App is available on AppStore and PlayStore, you can do a search "Africkiko" on either store and you will get the updated version of the application.
The production version of this applications are only available in the above mentioned app store. Refrain from download this application from any other location other Apple and Android app stores.
If your download or installion is failing please do check your wifi or mobile data connection and make sure you have good bandwith. If the issue continues, do well to restart your phone and try again.
Creating and delete account
To sell your music to your fans all over the world be able to monitor and manage your sales, streams and download from the comfort of the application, you need to create an artist account. Select "Artist account" during account creation and after review, your account status will be communicated to you so you can start selling.
To listen to latest releases and even create playlist from all your favorite songs, you need a standard user account. Here, you still have the option to manage your downloads, change payment methods as well as have access to other features such the Music Chart.
Uploading singles and albums
IN your artist account, click on "More" at bottom right then select "my tracks" at the left panel. Click on the "+" sign on the top right then fill in the necessary information and upload the single.
Click on "More" and the buttom left then select "My albums" in the left panel. Select the "+" sign at top right then fill in the necessary information required and upload the album.
After upload your single or album, it might take a few minutes for every information to display in the application so you have to give it between two to five minutes for all the information to display.
Subscriptions
With subscription, you have access to song and albums that are not on sale but are available for streaming. You also get the privilege of creating playlists whereas, if you are buying a song or album and you are not a subscriber, you only get access to songs you have purchased and a daily limit of 10 songs but cannot create playlists for these songs.
If you are unable to see the subscription fee in your local currency please go to the settings of your phone and change your geographical location then restart the application or the phone. It this doesn't help, initiate a payment and it will give you the fees in your currency.
Once a subscription has been initiated, you will have to wait for the next subscription circle to unsubscribe. You can also unsubscribe immediatley but it will only take effect in the next subscription circle.
Payments
If you are using in-app payment in either Google or Apple, you can connect your credit or debit card to your Google or Apple Pay account and make payments.
With Apple's in-app payment policies, a third-party payment such as MoMo/OR for our case is not permitted so you can only make subscriptions through Apple Pay.
If you don't see your country in the list of countries for Mobile Money payments, please use the in-app payment method. We are working hard to make sure we have all countries available.
To initiat refunds, you will have to vitit our contact page and send us an email with details of the reason for refund, a member of our team shall reach back to you with the proceedings after thorough investigation of your reason.
